Picks for Gameweek 13 of the Prem. League

We can now look forward to the second matchday within a week and there are some interesting games coming up. So far, only narrow gaps in the table can be observed, which means that even more can change in the table constellation. The most important games in the Top 8 on this matchday are Man. City against Brighton, Tottenham against Newcastle and Chelsea against Man. United.
Goal:
Kepa (74₵, Chelsea): After the injury to Mendy, the world’s most expensive goalkeeper returned to the Blues’ goal and based on his solid performances, it seems like it will stay that way for now. In his four games so far, he has kept the clean sheet three times and averaged 258 points. Against Man. United I think it will be a very unpredictable game, but the Spaniard could once again become a scoring machine.
Defence:
Gabriel (110₵, Arsenal): The Gunners are really playing a dream season so far and are in first place in both the league and the Euro. League. The Brazilian centre-back is one of the most important players in Mikel Arteta’s system and has topped the 400-point mark several times this season.
James Tarkowski (79₵, Everton): In the last five matchdays he leads the statistics ball intercepted/blocked and also his performances during this season, are worth seeing. In twelve games he has only twice scored less than 200 points, making him one of the most consistent players in the league.
Aaron Cresswell (70₵, West Ham): The Hammers’ full-back could be very interesting on this matchday and might still bring you important points on Monday. He usually creates the chances at West Ham and could cause Bournemouth some problems on the left.
Matthew Doherty (61₵, Spurs): After an injury lay-off, the Irishman is back in the Spurs starting line-up and performing really well. He averaged 232 points in his three starting eleven appearances and could go one better against the Magpies.
Midfield:
Phil Foden (125₵, Man. City): It’s no secret that Foden is one of the best players in the Prem. League and he could show his class on this matchday as well. Brighton have a very strong team and are also playing a good season, but City are always a step above. If the Englishman plays like he did in the last four games, where he averaged 522 points, then he should definitely be on your radar.
Harvey Elliot (82₵, Liverpool): The Reds are frequently struggling with injuries and now again a number of important players are out, but these absences mean that other players like Elliot then come into their own. He is not always convincing at SPITCH, but has already proven this season that he can score.
Declan Rice (79₵, West Ham): The Hammers captain is showing his class again this season and at just 23 is one of the best central midfielders in the league. He regularly dominates the midfield and also against Bournemouth, he should have a lot of control over the game and thus score a lot of points.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (120₵, Spurs): The Dane is also playing an excellent season and also manages to score a lot of points in almost every game, no matter who the opponent is. This week’s opponents Newcastle are in very good form and are unbeaten in six games, but it is still likely that Hojbjerg will manage to score well again.
Attack:
Willian (78₵, Fulham): I didn’t expect him to come back to Prem. League. But he is back and he brings a lot to the table. Despite his advanced age, he still plays very explosively and always looks to finish, scoring 235 and 400 in his first two starting eleven appearances. Fulham are also buoyed after their 3-0 win over Villa and could be as strong again against Leeds.
Roberto Firmino (126₵, Liverpool): The Brazilian striker actually brings you plenty of points pretty much all the time and has always been convincing when making a starting appearance, except against Man. City. Now it’s against last-place Nottingham and Firmino could set off an absolute firework.
Other alternatives:
Other players to keep an eye on are Diego Llorente (71₵, Leeds), who was allowed to start again in the last game and impressed straight away, Martin Ödegaard (112₵, Arsenal), who has been outstanding lately and Darwin Nunez (145₵, Liverpool), who could score again.
About me: I have been assisting SPITCH in its various divisions for over a year now. With my experience on the free pitches, I want to help you find interesting players that maybe not everyone has on their radar.
